The webinar about creative portfolio preparation will be held on 20 October 2023 at 15:00 UK time. The webinar will be hosted by Kate-Rose Carrick, the International Academic Coordinator at London College of Communication, UAL.

– Applying your concepts and techniques to your portfolio

Creative portfolio is a chance to showcase your strongest works and a key instrument for becoming a successful student and professional. What works should be included in the Portfolio? What are the typical mistakes in Portfolio preparation?

Who is invited to participate in the webinar: School pupils, University students and Professionals who dream about studying at the University of the Arts London, as well as everyone who already has work experience and wants to acquire new skills.


Kate-Rose Carrick

Kate-Rose Carrick is an International Academic Coordinator at London College of Communication. She is a multidisciplinary practitioner whose work encompasses sound, image and object.

Kate-Rose has spent her professional life exploring artists’ collective and research opportunities in challenging landscapes; immersing in community and cultural experiences to inform her artistic and pedagogic practice.

Since 2006 Kate-Rose has taught on a range of disciplines across the University at FE, UG and PG level in the UK and Europe; North America, SE and NE Asia. She has successfully written and delivered a condensed pilot Foundation Course for UAL in Thailand; worked as a fractional multidisciplinary tutor at UAL; ran the Part Time Foundation and covered the Full Time Foundation at Chelsea.

In 2010 Kate-Rose joined the International team at Chelsea, moving on to London College of Communication in 2018. This has enabled an insight into and experience of a multitude of overseas cultural and educational institutions. She continues to deliver guest lectures on a variety of subjects including western learning and teaching methodology.
